•Tolerates gaps and inconsistent fit-up
•Shielding Gas: 75-95% Argon/Balance CO 2 ; 95-98% Argon/
Balance CO 2 (not recommended for use with 100% CO 2 )
Recommended Welding Position:
Small diameters can be run out of position at low parameters.
Large diameter is intended for flat welding only.

ALL POSITION FLUX-CORE WIRE
•Formulated to deposit x-ray quality welds in flat, vertical up, horizontal, or overhead positions
•Designed for welding low carbon and mild steel, structural and pressure vessel grades
•Ideal for shipyard, automotive, structural, and related fabrication
•The all-position characteristics make it an excellent replacement for E7018 coated electrodes
•Provides a higher deposition rate, easier slag removal and greater efficiency than manual welding
with coated electrodes, translating to greater welding productivity and lower fabrication cost
•Flux-core ingredients produce a fast-freezing slag that facilitates out-of-position welds
•Bead contour is flat to slightly convex
•Special deoxidizers are added allowing operators to weld over light mill scale and rust
•Slag is easy to remove and low spatter provides easy post-weld cleaning
•Shielding Gas: 100% CO 2 or 75% Argon/25% CO 2 mixture (Argon/CO 2 produces
a spray-type transfer that helps control the weld puddle in out-of-position applications)
•Polarity: Reverse (Direct Current, Electrode Positive - DCEP)
